HAWAII STILL KNOWS MY NAME

Original Song

I wrote this song years ago, while I was living away from Hawaiʻi. After more than a few relationships had come and gone, I started thinking about the one relationship that never really changed.

No matter how long I was away, every time I came home, Hawaiʻi still felt like home — like she remembered me, even when I’d been gone too long.

The song became a kind of love letter to the islands, told through the places, colors, and little details I remembered while I was away.

Some loves don’t forget you. Neither does home.

LET ME BE THE ONE

Original Song

There was a time when I wasn't at my best. I was going through my own struggles, and someone I loved stayed beside me through all of it — quietly, patiently, without asking for much in return.

“Let Me Be The One” came from realizing that sometimes love gets its turn to give back.

When the roles reversed and it was someone else going through the hard season, the message was simple:

You stayed when I needed you.
Now let me be the one

HOLD ON TO

A song about the miles behind you and the things worth carrying forward.

“Hold On To” looks back at the wrong turns, lost love, hard lessons, and dreams chased without much of a plan.

Some lessons come easy. Others take a little fire, a few scars, and more than one trip down the wrong road.

But eventually the storm passes, the sky turns blue, and maybe you learn to slow down long enough to recognize the good things when they find you.

Because life gives us plenty

to let go of.

The trick is finding the love to hold on to.
